Cotabato City – Cotabato Light and Power Company (Cotabato Light) announces a reduction in electricity rates for the billing month of June 2025, bringing welcome relief to its customers.

The overall residential rate of Cotabato Light decreased by ₱0.4014 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) this June, bringing the rate down to ₱7.8034/kWh from ₱8.2048/kWh last month. This rate applies to bills received from June 16 to July 15, 2025.

The decrease is due to lower market prices from the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM), which resulted in a reduction of generation charges.

“This rate reduction reflects our continued efforts to ensure reliable and affordable electricity for our customers,” said Valentin S. Saludes III, President & COO, Cotabato Light. “We remain committed to providing transparent and efficient  service as part of our ongoing commitment to supporting our customers and communities.”

Cotabato Light encourages customers to adopt energy-saving habits and stay informed about their consumption through available programs and digital platforms.
