Cotabato Light Announces an increase in electricity rates for the billing month of July 2025

Cotabato City – Cotabato Light and Power Company (Cotabato Light) announces an increase in electricity rates for the billing month of July 2025.
The overall residential rate of Cotabato Light went up by ₱0.0961 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) this July, increasing the rate to ₱7.8995/kWh from ₱7.8034/kWh last month. This rate applies to bills received from July 16 to August 15, 2025.
The increase is primarily due to higher power supply prices from the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM) where Cotabato Light sources a part of its power requirement. With this, Cotabato Light continues to encourage customers to manage their energy consumption and use electricity wisely to avoid high electricity bill.
