Cotabato Light Recognized by Philippine Coast Guard’s MEPCOM for Environmental Partnership

Cotabato City, Philippines – June 2, 2025 — Cotabato Light and Power Company (Cotabato Light) was honored with the prestigious “Kaagapay sa Pag-aalaga ng Kalikasan Natin” (KAPAKANAN) Award by the Philippine Coast Guard’s Marine Environmental Protection Command (MEPCOM) during a recognition ceremony held on May 28, 2025 at Citystate Tower Hotel, Manila.

The award acknowledges Cotabato Light’s valuable support and active participation in initiatives that promote marine environmental protection. As a steadfast partner of the PCG, Cotabato Light's contribution has significantly aided the Command in fulfilling its mandate to safeguard and preserve the country’s marine ecosystems.
