COTABATO CITY — August 11, 2026 — Cotabato Light & Power Company (Cotabato Light) strengthened its partnership with Maguindanao Electric Cooperative, Inc. (MAGELCO) through the donation of electrical equipment, including transformers and meters, aimed at supporting the cooperative’s operational requirements and service delivery.

The donation forms part of Cotabato Light’s continuing commitment to building meaningful partnerships with fellow electric utilities and stakeholders in the community. By providing essential electrical equipment, Cotabato Light hopes to contribute to the cooperative’s efforts in maintaining reliable and efficient electricity services for its customers.

Following the turnover, employees from both Cotabato Light and MAGELCO also came together for a friendly pickleball game, providing an opportunity for employees to connect, build camaraderie, and strengthen professional relationships beyond their respective workplaces.

The activity highlighted the importance of collaboration not only in supporting operational needs but also in fostering positive relationships among employees and organizations within the electric power sector.

“Beyond the equipment we are sharing, activities like this allow us to strengthen our relationship with our fellow industry partners. We value opportunities to collaborate, learn from one another, and build stronger connections among our people,” said Cotabato Light President & General Manager - Valentin S. Saludes III.

The friendly match was participated in by employees from both companies in a spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie. More than a competition, the activity served as a venue for fostering teamwork, friendship, and a stronger sense of community.

Cotabato Light remains committed to supporting initiatives that create value for its stakeholders while promoting collaboration, employee engagement, and stronger partnerships within the communities it serves.

Together, we power partnerships, strengthen communities, and build a more connected electric power sector.
